Yemen | Jinko ESS Expands Energy Storage Presence Through Partnership with IES and Ruya Energy
Jinko ESS, the energy storage subsidiary of JinkoSolar, has signed a distribution agreement with Innovative Efficient Solutions (IES) to expand the deployment of its energy storage solutions in the Middle East, with Ruya Energy supporting the partnership as the local market partner in Yemen.
Under the agreement, IES will promote and support Jinko ESS’s SunGiga G2 liquid-cooled Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) applications.
IES will be responsible for sales development, project support, implementation and after-sales services, while working closely with Ruya Energy to provide local market expertise, customer engagement and on-the-ground project support in Yemen.
The SunGiga G2 platform incorporates advanced liquid-cooling technology designed to improve thermal management, operational efficiency and system reliability. According to Jinko ESS, the system is also designed for challenging environmental conditions, including high temperatures, humidity and saline environments.
Mahmoud Abuwardeh, Jinko ESS Head of Sales for North Africa, the Middle East and GCC, said the partnership combines IES’s technical and project-development capabilities with Ruya Energy’s local market knowledge and customer network.
The agreement comes as demand for battery energy storage solutions continues to grow across the C&I sector, where BESS can support energy cost optimisation, renewable energy integration and improved power reliability.
